The ancient Maya city in the middle of the forest

 Archaeologists have discovered two ancient cities of the Maya culture hidden in the middle of the forest in southeastern Mexico. Main researcher in the expedition say they believe there are "dozens" more ancient city can be found in the area.
 Ivan Sprajc, an assistant professor in the Research Center of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts said that his team discovered the ancient city of Lagunita and Tamchen in the Yucatan Peninsula in April and then by examining aerial photographs of the area.
According to Sprajc, two cities that became the center of a flurry at 600-1000 ad. In each city, the researchers found buildings such as palaces, pyramids, and the plaza. One of the pyramid reaches a height of 20 meters.
